Before your appointment
We recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our brow technicians before the procedure to discuss your desired brow shape, color, and any concerns you may have. This will help ensure we’re both on the same page and can tailor the procedure to your specific needs.
Avoid taking blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, for at least a week before the procedure as they can increase the risk of bleeding and bruising.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before the procedure as they can cause dehydration and affect the healing process.
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least a week before the procedure as sunburn or suntan can cause damage to your skin during the treatment.
Avoid using any retinol or acid-based skincare products for at least a week before the procedure as they can make your skin more sensitive and increase the risk of irritation.
Arrive at the appointment with clean skin, free from any makeup or skincare products. This will help your technician to properly prep your skin and ensure the pigment adheres to the skin correctly.
Semi-permanent brow procedures may require multiple sessions and a healing period of a few weeks. Be patient and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician to ensure the best results.
Consultations
We always do a consultation before your appointment. We look at your eyebrows and will help make a recommendation that we feel will be best for the outcome you are looking for. We may even ask another tech for a 2nd opinion. We are always working together to give you the best result! Trust us, communication is key when it comes to getting the lash look you want, so don't hold back.
our salons
At Eye Candy, we're all about creating a professional atmosphere while still keeping it real. We understand the allure of the latest gossip, but we also know the importance of maintaining a welcoming and respectful space for all of our clients.
We're always down for a good chat, whether it's about your lash preferences or deeper, more serious topics. However, we ask that you bring your A-game in terms of tact and consideration for others in the room.
Feel free to share your thoughts on mental health, social justice, or anything else that's on your mind. Just remember that some topics may be sensitive, so let's all be mindful of each other's boundaries.

So come on in, take in the open concept design, and let's have some respectful and engaging conversations.
During the appointment
We all know that taking care of ourselves is super important, and getting brows is a great way to do just that. But wait, there's more! Not only are you treating yourself to some amazing brows, but you're also getting a break from the constant buzz of technology.
Yep, you heard us right - no cell phone access for a small period of time. So put that phone on silent, forget about it, and really get to know yourself. It might sound scary at first, but trust us, it's a great way to recharge and reconnect with yourself.
what are you doing?
A topical numbing cream will be applied to the brow area to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. The cream will need to sit on for approximately 20 minutes before the procedure can begin.
Your technician will use a brow pencil to map out the brow shape and create a beautiful map of your brows. This will ensure symmetry and accuracy during the procedure.
Using either a handheld tool or a tattoo machine, your technician will carefully implant pigment into the skin using a series of small, fine strokes or movements, depending on the technique used. The pigment will be customized to your desired color and skin tone to the best of our ability. *Remember not all skin takes to pigments the same way, so results may vary.
During the procedure, your technician will periodically step back to assess the shape and color of the brows and make adjustments as needed. This is to ensure that the final result meets your expectations.
Once the procedure is complete, your technician will provide you with aftercare instructions. These may include avoiding certain activities or products, keeping the area clean and dry, and applying a healing ointment to the brows.
Your brow procedure can take around 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the technique used and if any adjustments are needed. The procedure may cause mild discomfort or a slight sensation of scratching or scraping during the pigment application, but the numbing cream should help minimize any discomfort. After the procedure, you can expect some redness, swelling, and scabbing, but this should subside within few days.
How will my brows last before i need a touch up?
