30-40% of extensions

Please make sure you have 30-40% of your extensions left on each eye. If that is not the case, we will unfortunately have to book you in for a full set. Remember that when we book you in for a lash fill, we need to remove the overgrown lashes and replace them with new extensions. If we do not do that, then the extensions can damage your natural lashes, and we want to make sure that your lashes are as healthy as can be!

Foreign fill

If you are coming from somewhere else, please book the “fill from other salons” appointment. We charge a bit more than our typical fill price and add extra time. This is because we have run into multiple situations where it has taken us much longer to fill lashes from other salons, or that we have had to remove them and start fresh. But don’t worry, we will walk you through the process and do what is best for you and your lashes! If you are unsure, we recommend booking a removal and new set!

clean your lashes

Make sure to come to your appointment with clean lashes! This means, no mascara, eyeliner and or strip lash residue. Lashes that are clean have much better retention and will last longer. And let's talk about waterproof mascara and L'Oreal Voluminous mascara- those buggers are tough to remove, even with our expert cleaning skills. If you come in with leftover product on your lashes, it can seriously compromise the retention of your extensions. And we definitely don't want that! So pretty please, with a cherry on top, make sure those lashes are clean as a whistle before you come in. Your lashes (and your lash technician) will thank you!

Consultations

We always do a consultation before your appointment. Is it a fill but you are looking for something different? Let your technician know, and we can change up the look for you! And if it's your first time getting lashes, don't be shy - bring in those photos and let your technician work their magic. We'll take a look at your natural lashes and make recommendations that'll have you batting those beauties like a pro in no time. Trust us, communication is key when it comes to getting the lash look you want, so don't hold back.

Feel free to share your thoughts on mental health, social justice, or anything else that's on your mind. Just remember that some topics may be sensitive, so let's all be mindful of each other's boundaries.

Mini or regular fill

Our mini fills are meant to be quick touch ups and are times appointments. We do not thoroughly go through and remove the grown out lashes. These appointments are meant to be quick touch ups or off set to your regular appointments. Even if you come every 2 weeks, you will be required to book in for a regular fill approximately every 3rd appointment due to lash growth cycles and natural shedding.

Remove contacts

We ask that you remove your contacts during appointments. This is for a number of reasons, but especially if you get dry eyes easily, laying down for 1-3 hours can cause your eyes to become dry and irritated.

Caffeine & other stimulants

Hey there, caffeine addict! We know you love your coffee and Red Bull, but if you're coming in for a lash appointment, you better think twice before your chug that beverage on the way to your appointment. Remember, you'll be laying still for a while, so that caffeine buzz might not be your friend. Those fluttery eyelids can be a real pain for both you and your technician, making it a struggle to lash you up to perfection.

So take a deep breath, relax, and come in with a calm and collected mindset. Your lash technician will thank you, and your lashes will look even more fabulous without all that jittery energy getting in the way. And hey, you can always reward yourself with a nice cup of coffee or energy drink after your appointment - you'll have some seriously gorgeous lashes to show off, after all!

During the appointment

We all know that taking care of ourselves is super important, and getting lashes is a great way to do just that. But wait, there's more! Not only are you treating yourself to some lash goodness, but you're also getting a break from the constant buzz of technology.

Yep, you heard us right - no cell phone access for a few hours. So put that phone on silent, forget about it, and really get to know yourself. It might sound scary at first, but trust us, it's a great way to recharge and reconnect with yourself. And let's be real, who needs to be scrolling through social media when you've got those fabulous lashes to admire?
